The Proposal

Documenting special moments is one of the most rewarding types of projects I do. This particular piece captures the joy and shock of the spontaneous moment Richard proposed to his now-wife Nancy. The two mallards floating in the pond behind the happy couple are a symbol of love and commitment, because Mallards mate for life. I thoroughly enjoyed building up colors and textures to create a Floridian landscape just like the one where the proposal took place.
